OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

  • Use a MEDIUM SIZE shoe box.

  • Cover the box with and the lid SEPARATELY in Christmas wrapping paper. Do not seal the box.

  • Collect a leaflet from Mrs Vaughan.

  • Fill the shoe box with NEW gifts for a BOY or a GIRL of a specific age catergory.

  • Do not wrap individual items.

  • Please enclose £2 in an envelope and place it in a visible place inside the box. Ask parents to fill in the gift aid section if possible.

  • Secure lid with elastic band.

  • BOXES MUST BE HANDED IN BY FRIDAY NOVEMBER 2ND, (Only 1 week after half-term.

Gifts may include the following:

  • Cuddly Toys

  • A toothbrush+toothpaste. Soap and flannel.

  • Notepads, colouring books, picture books.

  • Pencils, crayons or felt pens.

  • Hat, cap, scarf or gloves,

  • A small ball.

  • A small puzzle.

  • Toy cars.

  • Jewellery

  • MAke-up or hair accessories.

  • A greetings card.

  • Sweets, (Must be within sell-by date).

Please do NOT include any of the following:

  • Chocolate

  • Edible items except for sweets, (Within sell-by date).

  • Toy Guns etc.

  • Clothing, (Except for hat, cap, gloves or scarf).

  • Glass

  • Liquids, e.g. bubble bath etc.

  • Sharp objects

  • Books with words

Anything of political, racial or religious nature.

 

 

P.S. I thought we weren’t meant to say anything about CHRISTMAS!?!
